First, the color is a bit of a surprise. It’s not quite like the photos—under pretty much any lighting, it’s more of a bright purple or a punchy bluish-violet. It’s definitely a vivid "pop" of color, so don't expect anything dark or moody. As for the fit, I grabbed the biggest size, and it’s definitely roomier than your average 2XL. But since it’s a flowy, "dressy" design with a lot of ruffles, the extra space actually works pretty well. A tip on the fabric: The white dress part is on the thinner side. If you’re wearing this for a performance, stick to white or nude undies so they don’t show through. The "RPG" Vibe: Honestly, you could lean into the sheerness! If you wear black underneath and throw on a leather belt, it gives off a total fantasy/RPG character vibe. The bottom line: It’s a great costume by itself, but it’s even better as a base layer. If you toss on some ancient-looking jewelry or accessories, you can really make it your own. Super versatile depending on how you style it!
i am normally a Medium, but chose to size up to a Large because i like the off-the-shoulder look. plus, i was planning on wearing a corset, so i wasn't worried about the dress falling off. the left side of the skirt's length can be controlled by the ties; i found that as the day got hotter, i wanted more ventilation, so i wound up using a skirt hike on the other side. i am 5ft tall and found the length of the dress to be perfect. fabric was easy to wash; just very wrinkly but i didn't care too much about that.
This dress is absolutely beautiful and such good quality. I was not expecting it to be this comfortable! It fits perfectly and hugs your body in the right spots but has enough stretch to be comfy. It has a short slip under it so it’s not see through at all. Even the chest isn’t see through, ftn! The material is so soft and flowy I love it so much! I can’t wait to complete the look this weekend at the renaissance faire :)
Love this dress, just as described. Definitely needed ironing but then looked gorgeous, was comfortable and great fit.
Costume was super cute totally expensive but worth it way better than every other Demon Hunter costume.
This is an amazing outfit! I was a little hesitant to order it because of the price, and I could not see it. I am very particular about my costumes, and I do not want to look cheap. However, I was extremely excited when this arrived! It was super cute, the quality is awesome! This is by far the best outfit I could have found! I will be keeping this to use over and over!!

The Hester Frump costume was perfect for our Adam’s family Halloween theme at school this year! The costume was comfortable and made with quality material. I love the fit of the dress and didn’t worry at all about any wardrobe malfunctions. The collar of the dress stayed up all day!! My son loves this costume. The face is sturdy snd stands up great. Nice zipper on the back too, instead of that cheap Velcro. My son is 4’ 55lbs and a large fit great.
